Q1. What is the eligibility criteria?
Ans. The eligibility criteria is as follows:
MBBS:
General Merit candidates should have passed the qualifying examination which is 2nd PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent examination, recognized by State / Central Government. The last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) with English as a compulsory subject and must have passed these subjects individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% of marks taken together in PCB. In addition, in the Common Entrance Test, must have secured not less than 50% marks in PCB.
SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka should have passed the qualifying examination which is 2nd PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent examination, recognized by State / Central Government. The last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) with English as a compulsory subject and must have passed these subjects individually and must have obtained a minimum of 40% of marks taken together in PCB. In addition, in the Common Entrance Test, must have secured not less than 40% marks in PCB. Candidates should have attained the age of 17 years.
BDS:
General Merit candidates should have passed qualifying exam which is 2nd PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent exam recognized by State / Central Government. The last two years study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) with English as a compulsory subject must have passed the subject and individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% of marks taken together in PCB.
SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka a minimum of 40% of marks taken together in PCB. All other requirements are same as applicable for General Merit candidates
Q2. What is the reservation criteria for seats?
Ans. The reservation of seats is as follows: Open for all states for MBBS/BDS ( Based on COMEDK UGET 2011 score )
Q3. What is the age limit for COMEDK-UGET?
Ans. The minimum age limit is 17 years
Q4. When will the exam notification be out?
Ans. The exam notification will be out in 1st week of March.
Q5. When is the entrance exam?
Ans. The entrance exam will be held on 8th of May.
Q6. Is it a state level exam or an All-India level exam?
Ans. It is an All-India level exam
