The All India Comman Entrance Test-2012 is conducted for selection of candidates for admission to M.B.B.S.,B.D.S.,B.P.T.,B.Sc.(Nursing)and B.Pharm Courses in Dr.D.Y.Patil University, Pune. This test is conducted by Dr. D. Y. Patil University. The University has eight institutions. It has been providing high quality education in the Faculties of Allied Medical Sciences, Nursing, Biotechnology & Bioinformatics, Management, Medicine, Dentistry and distance learning.

AICTE 2012 Eligibility
Candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equal examination with at least 50% aggregate marks for general category (40% for SC/ST) in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with English as a core subject. Candidates who are appearing for 10+2 exams in 2012 may also apply. Candidate must be an Indian national.

Candidate should have attained the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2012.

AICTE 2012 Exam Pattern:
There will be one paper of 200 marks. The Exam consists of 200 objective type Multiple Choice Questions from 50 question each on subject.
Subjects:
Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
For each question there will be five options and the candidates should mark for the right answer. The duration of exam is 3 hours. Selection based on Entrance Test, Group Dissection and Personal Interview.
AICTE 2012 Important Dates:
Application Forms available from: 1st week of March, 2012
Exam Date: 2nd week of May, 2012
Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: 4th week of April, 2012
How to Apply:
Application Forms can be obtained from the University office or branches of Andhra Bank on payment of Rs.500/- in cash or D.D. OR by post through a requisition letter along with a demand draft of Rs.600 drawn on any nationalized bank, in favour of Registrar, Dr. D. Y. Patil University, payable at Pune. Candidates can download application form from the University Website www.dpu.edu.in which shall be submitted along with a demand draft of Rs.2100 includes Form Fee, Test Fee, Postal Charges. Completed application form with a demand draft of Rs.2000 drawn on any Nationalized bank and payable at Pune may be submitted personally or by reregistered post / speed post / courier to the Registrar, Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Sant Tukaram Nagar, Pimpri, Pune - 411 018. The Form Fee and the Test Fee is non-refundable.
