About Exam:
ASSO CET 2012 is an entrance exam conducted by Association of Management of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges, Maharashtra (AMUPMDC) for admission to various medical and dental courses in unaided private medical and dental colleges in Maharashtra. All the medical colleges are approved by Maharashta University of Health Sciences and Medical Council of India. Dental Colleges are also approved by Dental Council of India and other Health Science Colleges by the corresponding Central Councils.
Eligibility : 10+2 , 50% (PCB)
Reservation of seats :
- Open for Every states 7000 seats for different courses ( total number of seats ) on the basis of ASSO CET 2012 score

1. Medical (MBBS)
2. Dental (BDS)
3. Ayurvedic (BAMS)
4. Physiotherapy (BPTh)
5. Occupational (BOTh)
6. Nursing (BSc)

Colleges under Exam:
There are eleven private medical and 21 private dental colleges in Maharasthra for which admission is conducted through ASSO CET. In addition there are are about 104 colleges for other medical bachelor courses like BAMS, BPTh, BOTh and BSc Nursing. A very large number of students from Maharastra and other parts of India appear for ASSO CET for admission in these colleges for over 7000 seats in different courses
