About Exam:

Assam Joint Admission Test 201 2 s conducted by the Director of Technical Education, Assam. It is conducted for the candidates who aspire to take admission into the various undergraduate courses in the engineering college, medical college, regional dental college and ayurvedic college in the state of Assam and NIT (Assam state quota) are also selected through Assam JAT. Every year the time and venue of the entrance is notified by the Director of Technical Education in Assam Gazette and other newspapers as well. Generally, Assam JAT is held in the month of May every year which is liable to changes.

Eligibility Criteria ; 10+2 -50%(gen) & 40% (Reserve category)

Reservation of seats :

85% seats for State Candidates(Including SC 7% , ST 15% (Plains 10% Hills 5%) & OBC 15%

All India quota/NGOI- 15 seats & 13 seats (Meghalya-10 , Arunachal Pradesh -1 , Nagaland -1 , Mizoram-1)
