About Exam:
All India Medical Entrance Exam(AU-AIMEE 2012) is conducted by Annamalai University for admission to its various medical courses like MBBS, BDS, BPT, BSc(Nursing) and B Pharm. Annamalai University is one of the oldest universities in India being established in 1928. It provides higher education in various fields like social sciences, arts, literature, management, medical, engineering etc.
It conducts a common entrance examination to all the medical bachelor courses which include MBBS, BDS, BPT, BSc(Nursing) and B Pharm. Admission is based on the percentage of class 12th marks, admission test and a personal interview. Admission is considered to be really tough specially for MBBS course. A large number of candidates from Tamil Nadu and other parts of India take part in AIMEE for admission to its courses. Admission is considered to be really tough specially for MBBS course.

A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
