BCECE 2012 FAQS

Q1. What is the eligibility criteria?

Ans. The eligibility criteria is 10+2 (PCB)

Q2. What is the reservation criteria?

Ans. Open for all states ( Based on BCECEB 2012 score )

Q3. What is the minimum age limit?

Ans. The minimum age must be 17 years as on 31st December, 2011

Q4. What courses are offered?

Ans. The courses offered in the medical stream are MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ B.Ph.T./ B.Th.O. in Government Colleges of Bihar and in other similar courses of this stream.

Q5. When will the application procedure start?

Ans. The application procedure will start from Second week of February 2012.

Q6. When will application procedure end?

Ans. The application procedure will end on first week of March.

Q7. When will the examination be held?

Ans. First stage of examination is on: Third week of April 2012
Second stage of examination is on: Last week of May 2012

Q8. Is it a state level exam or an All-India level exam?

Ans. It is a state level exam.

Q9.What is the cost of application form?

Ans. The cost of application form is Rs. 600 for general and Rs. 300 for SC/ST and 610 if purchased from bank and Rs. 310 respectively.

Q10. In whose favour is the DD to be issued?

Ans. The Bank Draft can be issued by any Nationalised Bank, must be in favour of "Controller of Examination, BCECE Board" payable at Patna.

Q11. Where are the applications to be sent?

Ans. Completed application forms must be sent by registered post / speed post only and must reach the office of The controller of examination, bceceb, ias association building (near patna airport), p.o.- veterinary college, patna-800 014.
