About CMC Ludhiana:
Christian Medical College (CMC) Ludhiana is an educational and research institution (medical science)of all India character established and run by the minority Christian community. CMC Ludhiana figures among one of the top medical colleges of India. Presently, Christian Medical College Ludhiana Society (Regd) runs three colleges, i.e., Christian Medical College, College of Nursing and Christian Dental College. It is recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) and is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.
CMC Ludhiana traces its origin to 1881 when the Medical Missionary work was started in Ludhiana by the Greenfield sisters, Miss Martha Rose and Miss Kay Greenfield. In 1894, the North Indian School of Medicine for Christian Women was established. This school was later converted into Women's Christian Medical College. In 1953, the name of the college was changed to Christian Medical College and the college was opened to both men and women students for the upgraded MBBS course
Eligibility Criteria :
- For MBBS/BDS - 50% in 10+2 (PCB)
- For B.sc - 45% in 10+2
- For B.Sc/BPT - 40% in 10+2 (sc/st/obc)
Reservation of seats :
- open for all states ( Based on UG AWT 2012 / CMC Ludhiana 2012 score )
- 50 seats for MBBS , 40 seats for BDS , 60 seats for B.Sc , 20 seats BOPhysiotherapy
