I'm a standard 12th student studying in an ISC school. I am currently preparing for IIT JEE. Now I also want to prepare for medical (i've taken bio in 11th and 12th). I don't know which books to study from as ISC biology is slightly different from its CBSE counterpart. I am planning to write the exam in 2011. Please recommend some books for preparing for medical exams like AIIMS, JIPMER etc. Please help.

ISC biology covers all other boards' syllabi

apart frm ISC u can take up ncert books...those are mainly accordin to cbse syllabus...
these two shud be sufficient for theory
then practise MCQs frm DINESH / PRADEEP's objective biology for all india exam purpose. they contain many many chapterwise mcq questions frm text bks and also collect questions frm various other entrance exams chapter-wise....they also have recaps of each chapter before questions......

if u want more theory books then u can go for TRUMANs biology and then rapid biology....
bt i feel first gain a grip over ncert and isc, thn dinesh / pradeep....
