No new notifications have been released for counselling. As soon as they are released the candidates will be notified. Till then the exam aspirants can read the following information based on last year's brochure.
The candidates, who have qualified the exam, will be allocated seats in the colleges under the exam via the admission process called as UPCPMT 2013 Counselling. The candidates will be arranged in the increasing order of their ranks depending upon their score in the entrance exam.
The UPCPMT 2013 Counselling schedule will be decided by the exam organizing bodies in which the dates and time of counselling will be displayed. The candidates will be called according to their ranks in the merit list – a fixed number of candidates every day. The UPCPMT 2013 Counselling schedule and rules are to be followed by the candidates mandatorily and no change will be there in the dates of counselling for any candidate.
The first round of UPCPMT 2013 Counselling will be done before 25th of July 2013 as per the schedule which will be made available on the websites of www.updgme.in, http://www.cpmt2013.org/ and http://www.kgmu.org/. The second round of Counselling will be completed by 28th of the month of August, 2013 as per the schedule.
No other notification will be sent to the candidates regarding the UPCPMT 2013 Counselling in any round. Therefore the candidates are advised to stay in touch with these websites in order to be updated about the latest exam notifications.
The vacant seats reserved for the candidates of reserved categories will be converted to general seats. The UPCPMT 2013 Counselling will be done via video conferencing at the four counselling centers created.
The candidates attending the UPCPMT 2013 Counselling have to bring the original and one photocopy of the following documents while coming for it:
- The passing certificate or mark sheet of the qualifying exam.
- Two more photos similar to the ones pasted on the application form.
- The candidates have to bring the original category certificate at UPCPMT 2013 Counselling.
- High School or equivalent exam original certificate.
- Uttar Pradesh Bonafide Resident Certificate.
The candidates should keep this thing in mind that the UPCPMT 2013 Counselling can stretch over more than one day and in that case, the candidates have to manage their food and stay by themselves.
The candidates will be called for UPCPMT 2013 Counselling as per their state ranks. There will be no separate counselling for the candidates of reserved categories.
The candidates have to submit Rs. 300/- in any bank branch of Axis Bank in cash as per the account details given in the brochure. They will be given two copies of this bank transaction out of which one will be kept by them and one will be for the Director General (DGME) which has to be submitted at the time of UPCPMT 2013 Counselling.
The candidates have to submit a UPCPMT 2013 Counselling Fee of Rs. 5000/- at any bank branch of Axis Bank in Uttar Pradesh in cash as per the account details given in the brochure. The candidates will again be given two copies of bank transaction and similarly they have to submit one at the time of UPCPMT 2013 Counselling and one has to be kept by them.
This amount will be refunded in between the months of October and December 2013 as per the notifications released on the website.
The candidate’s presence is mandatory at the time of UPCPMT 2013 Counselling and if the candidate does not come on first day of counselling, he/she can attend it the next day. If the candidate comes late on the day of counseling, he/she will be allocated seat as per the available vacancy and their preference.
The candidates who didn’t take the seat allocated to them in UPCPMT 2013 Counselling will not be given refund of the security amount.
