JIPMER exam is organized by Jawaharlal Institute of Post – Graduate Medical Education and Research for admission in 100 seats of MBBS. Out of them, 82 are filled by the candidates who qualify the exam and rest is filled by the nominees of Indian Govt.

Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must be 17 years old in the year of admission and must belong to India.
- The minimum educational requirement and the qualifying examination that will be considered by JIPMER will be revealed in JIPMER 2013 Notification.
- The minimum aggregate score for General Category Candidates is 50% and for OBC/SC/ST/OPH category candidates is 40%.
- The general category OPH Candidates have to however score a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.
- JIPMER 2013 Notification for foreign category candidates will decide their eligibility on the basis of their nomination by Indian Govt.
Reservation of Seats
- JIPMER 2013 Notification for reservation of seats will show the details of seats reserved for the candidates of Unreserved, OBC, SC, ST categories.

Application Form:
The JIPMER 2013 Notification regarding Application Form bears all the details of filling the forms, the form submission process, form fee and fee remission details.
- The application forms will be filled on www.jipmer.edu.in which is the official website of the exam.
- The forms will be available on the website till 4th of May, 2013 as per the JIPMER 2013 Notification.
- The information brochure will be available on the website.
- JIPMER 2013 Notification for the form fee and fee remission will also have the instructions which must be obeyed by the candidates in order to complete the form submission without any error.
JIPMER Admit Card
The JIPMER 2013 Notification for admit card will be released on the website itself on 15th of May, 2013. The candidates have to obtain the admit cards form there only and preserve the admit card till the admission process is complete.
