The exam notifications for RPMT 2013 have not yet been released by the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences and the following information has been withdrawn from the last year’s information brochure for the candidates in order to have an overall idea about the exam.
As soon as the RPMT 2013 Notifications will be released the post will also be updated.
The Rajasthan Pre – Medical Test will be organized by the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences for admission in various dental, medical and veterinary institutes in Rajasthan. The admission to 85% seats will be done via the RPMT 2013 exam and the rest will be filled by All India Candidates via the NEET UG 2013 Exam.
Before applying for the exam, the candidates have to confirm their eligibility for the exam by going through the Eligibility Criteria. Only those candidates should apply for the exam who satisfy all the conditions of eligibility criteria rest will not be considered for the exam and further admission process.
RPMT 2013 Eligibility Criteria are:
- The minimum requirement of educational qualification for the aspirants of MBBS and BDS are in the following table and must be satisfied to be eligible under RPMT 2013 Eligibility Criteria:

SSC or ICSE exam considered equivalent to Class XII after 12 years of school, with subjects of Chemistry, Physics, Biotechnology/Biology with English in last two years as compulsory subject combination. |
RPMT 2013 Eligibility Criteria requires the candidate to have taken SSC or ICSE exam equivalent to Class XII exam after 12 years of school in which last two years comprised studying Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects. |
- The RPMT 2013 Eligibility Criteria requires a candidate to have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Chemistry, English, Physics and Bio – Technology / Biology and a minimum 50% marks in Physics, Biology and Chemistry.
- To be eligible as per the RPMT 2013 Eligibility Criteria, the OBC, SC and ST candidates should have a minimum aggregate of 40% in the above mentioned subjects.
- The candidates of General Physically Handicapped category have the minimum aggregate value as 45% and for those belonging to SC – PH / SBC – PH / OBC – PH / ST – PH is 40%.
- The RPMT 2013 Eligibility Criteria also allows candidates who are appearing in the qualifying exam in the year of 2013 to take the exam, their admission will however be subject to the satisfaction of eligibility clauses by their result.
- The candidates must be at least 17 years old by the month of December 2013 to be eligible for exam and further admission process as per the RPMT 2013 Eligibility Criteria.
The candidate must have studied the last three years of taking the taking the Qualifying Exam as a regular student continuously in recognized institute in Rajasthan and must be an Indian National as per RPMT 2013 Eligibility Criteria.
RPMT 2013 Application Form
The RPMT 2013 Application Form will have two parts and will be filled online only. The candidates are required to complete all the phase of the form filling process online only. The candidates who send handwritten or typed or Photostat copies or screen print out or printed RPMT 2013 Application Form will be rejected.
The candidates should complete the online form filling process very carefully as per the instructions as if any lapse is detected at any stage the candidature will be cancelled even if the candidate was in last round of admission process.
RPMT 2013 Application Form filling instructions will be available on the website and must be read and obeyed carefully. The candidates have to generate the Bank Challan to remit the RPMT 2013 Application Form fee at the designated bank branch. The candidates should keep the Bank Transaction ID, their User ID and Password for future use and keep it safe.
The candidates should make sure that the Transaction ID is mentioned on all the three slips of RPMT 2013 Application Form Challan. After the candidates have completed the Part 1 of the application process they can fill the RPMT 2013 Application Form Part 2.
RPMT 2013 Reservation of Seats
In case the candidate is found to be adopting for fraudulent means regarding RPMT 2013 Reservation of Seats claims, their candidature will be cancelled and proper legal action will be taken.
RPMT 2013 Reservation of Seats Details is as follows:
- Out of the total intake, 15% of MBBS / BDS seats will be filled by an All India Entrance Exam.
- Under the Central Govt. Pool, in each State Medical College of Rajasthan in MBBS Course 4 seats will be reserved to be filled by the Central Govt. Authority as per RPMT 2013 Reservation of Seats Provisions.
- After excluding the above mentioned seats, 16% Seats will be reserved for the Scheduled Caste candidates who belong to the caste by birth. Out of these, 25% seats will be reserved for the girl candidates of Scheduled Castes as per RPMT 2013 Reservation of Seats.
- There will be a 12% reservation for the Scheduled Tribe out of which 25% will be reserved for the girls belonging to the ST category and 45% RPMT 2013 Reservation of Seats for the bonafide residents of the Scheduled Area.
- The OBC candidates will have a 21% reservation out of which 25% will be reserved for the girls belonging to the OBC category.
- 1% RPMT 2013 Reservation of Seats will be for the candidates of Special Backward Classes out of which 25% will be reserved for the girl candidates of this category.
- For the natural born candidates of retired or serving Defence Personnel of Rajasthan will have 6 seats in MBBS and 1 Seat in BDS course as per the RPMT 2013 Reservation of Seats out of which 50% will be for girls. In case the seats reserved for the girls go vacant, the unfilled seats will be reverted back to the boys.
- The priority order for the RPMT 2013 Reservation of Seats for Defence Category candidates is in the admission brochure.
- The reservation in private dental/medical colleges will be according to the rules of State Govt.
- The RPMT 2013 Reservation of Seats will reserve two seats for the wards of Para Military personnel of Rajasthan Origin.
From among the seats reserved for the candidates of SC, OBC, SBC, ST and General Categories, 3% seats will be reserved for the Physically Handicapped candidates as per the RPMT 2013 Reservation of Seats provisions.
