Q1. What is the eligibility criteria?
Ans. The eligibility criteria is as follows:
Essential: Applicant must be a resident Indian national. Applicant should have studied and completed their course in the schools located in India in the preceding two years. Applicant should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31.10.2013
Educational: Applicant should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Botany/Zoology with at least 50% aggregate marks in PCB for unreserved category (40% for SC/ST/OBC and a pass in English). Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2013 can also apply.

Q3. How is the entrance exam conducted?
Ans. JIPMER uses paper-based test administration (MCQ) for merit listing the candidates for the above admissions. Candidate has to appear for entrance examination to be conducted by JIPMER in the month of June 2013.

Ans. Candidate can opt for one of the following centres for the entrance examination: Ahmedabad, Bangaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Nagpur, New Delhi, Puducherry and Thiruvananthapuram

Ans. The exam notifications have been released.
