Every year a minimum score is decided by the controlling bodies of the exam in order to delimit the candidates to be included in the merit list and hence called for subsequent admission process. This minimum score is called as JIPMER 2013 Cutoff Marks. The candidates who score above this cutoff will be included in the merit list and hence will be called for admission process. Rest will be disqualified and debarred from the counseling.
JIPMER 2013 Cutoff has been however, fixed for every category candidate and is displayed in the brochure as the minimum percentage of marks that must be scored by the candidates in the exam in order to be included in the exam.
The JIPMER 2013 Cutoff for all the categories is as follows:
- General: 50%
- General OPH: 45%
- JIPMER 2013 Cutoff for OBC/SC/ST: 40%
The candidates have to score at least the above specified marks to be included in the merit list. The ranks of the candidates corresponding to the JIPMER 2013 Cutoff Marks will be called as Cutoff Rank.
The JIPMER 2013 Cutoff remains same for every year and thus the candidates can get an idea from the last year’s cutoff whether they will be included in the merit list.
