About Exam:

Common Entrance Test for Pondicherry Private Medical Colleges(CETPPMC) is an entrance examination for admission to MBBS course in Private Medical Colleges in Pondicherry. The governing body of the examination is the Pondicherry Linguistic & Religious Minority Medical & Dental Colleges Welfare Association. Candidates can only appear once for CETPPMC though SC/ST candidates can appear twice for CETPPMC.

There are three medical colleges in Pondicherry in which admission is through CETPPMC. These colleges are Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College & Hospital and Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College Hospital & Research Centre. A large number of students appear for CETPPMC every year for admission to MBBS course in these colleges and the competition is quite tough.

Eligibility Criteria:

A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English and atleast 50% aggregate marks in PCB(40% for SC/OBC).
