GCET exam has five sets of question papers based on the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Computer Science.
- The exam comprises objective type questions.
- Each correct answer carries one mark, but there is no negative marking for a wrong answer.
- The applicants have to appear for a different combination of subjects, according to their preferred field either in Medicine, Engineering, Architecture, Dentistry and Pharmacy.
