JIPMER stands for Jawaharlal Institute of Post – Graduate Medical Education and Research which conducts its own entrance test every year for admission in MBBS. The JIPMER 2013 will be conducted on 2nd of June, 2013 in between 10 am and 12.30 pm.

Some seats under JIPMER exam will be filled by Govt nominees too. The exam result will form the sole basis of admission in undergraduate Medical Courses. Every candidate is advised to first go through the eligibility criteria for JIPMER 2013 prior filling the exam form as only eligible candidates will be considered for admission.

The details of Eligibility Criteria are as follows:

  • The candidate must be Indian.
  • The candidates must have attained the age of 17 years at the time of filling the form or by the end of the year of admission. Thus all the candidates who are born on or before 01/01/1997 are eligible as per Eligibility Criteria for JIPMER 2013.
  • There will be no relaxation for any category candidates in the above mentioned age criteria.
  • Eligibility Criteria of JIPMER 2013 for qualifying examination:
    • The Secondary / Higher Secondary /Indian School Certificate Examination considered equivalent to 10+2 exam taken after 12 years of study, of which two last years’ study must have comprised Chemistry, Physics, Biology / Mathematics and Bio – Technology.
    • Eligibility Criteria of JIPMER 2013 requires the candidates to have qualified English as one of the electives.
    • The minimum aggregate that must have been scored by the candidate to be eligible under Eligibility Criteria in the above mentioned subject combination is 50% (GEN) and 40% (OPH/OBC/ST/SC).
    • The general category OPH candidates will have to score a minimum aggregate of 45% to be declared eligible as per Eligibility Criteria of JIPMER 2013.
    • The candidates who have passed any exam other than the list of exams specified in the brochure of JIPMER 2013 have to submit an Eligibility Certificate which has been obtained from Association of Indian Universities at New Delhi.
  • Eligibility Criteria for JIPMER 2013 for Foreign Nationals:
    • The nominations of the foreign candidates must be done by Indian Govt.
    • No requests or correspondences will be entertained by the Ministry of Health & Welfare and JIPMER for direct supply of Application Forms.
  • As per the norms of Eligibility Criteria, the candidates who are appearing in the qualifying exam in the year of admission will also be eligible for admission process given their result submission precedes it.

Application Form for JIPMER 2013

The Application Form will be available only ONLINE on Candidates have to fill the forms in between 25.03.2013 and 04.05.2013.


The Application Form Fee can be remitted in the following ways:

  • The candidates have to remit the fee via the online available bank challan of SBI Bank. The fee for application form of JIPMER 2013 is Rs. 1000/- for GEN and OBC candidates and Rs. 800/- for ST and SC candidates.
  • The form submission will require uploading the scanned images of candidates' photo and signature.
  • The submission will be confirmed only after the confirmation of payment at the Bank Branches.

Admit Card

The Admit Card of JIPMER 2013 will be made available on from 15.05.2013 onwards and have to be downloaded from there only. The candidates have to fill the application form properly, complete the form submission process as per the given instructions, remit the fee in correct amount and manner and attach the copies of the required certificates with the form. If all of the above mentioned things are completed, ONLY THEN the JIPMER 2013 Admit Card will be issued to the candidates.

The candidates should not mutilate the JIPMER 2013 Admit Card or manipulate the information in it. They must preserve this admit card till the admission process is complete.


The Marks Obtained by the candidate in the Result of JIPMER 2013 out of 200 will form the basis of Merit List generation.

A minimum percentage score has been decided by the exam controlling bodies for every category which will serve as the cutoff score for every candidate to be included in the respective merit list of Result.

students should fill the exam form because 2 months, not much difference if u not fill the form then u will loose your chance so atleast u can take a risk and forms may be accept . so fill the form.
