JSSU-UGET 2012 Notification

JSS University, Mysore has announced the exam dates for Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeswara University Under Graduate Entrance Test(JSSU UGET) 2012 which will be conducted in the month of May. JSSU UGET will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012.

JSSU UGET (Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeswara University Under Graduate Entrance Test) is an entrance exam conducted by JSS University, Mysorefor admission into Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program for the commencing session 2012-13.

JSSU UGET 2012 Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should have passed qualifying examination equivalent to PUC or 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional and English as one of the main study language with minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and should have also passed in English language.

The candidates should also have secured not less than 50% , marks together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects in the JSSU UGET – 2012 Entrance Test.

In case of SC/ST/Category01 and OBC category candidates they should have secured minimum 40% marks in both qualifying examination and entrance test.

Application Procedure for JSSU UGET

Prospectus and application form for entrance examination can be downloaded from JSS University’s website: www.jssuni.edu.in. The downloaded and printed application form should be sent along with a processing fee of Rs 2000/- only by way of DD favoring JSS University Fee Account, Mysore payable at Mysore along with the documents listed in the official website.

Application forms can also be obtained by sending a application fee of Rs 200/- only by way of DD favoring of JSS University Fee Account, Mysore, payable at Mysore.

Duly filled in application form should be sent to the university along with documents listed in the official website of the university enclosing DD for Rs 2000/- favoring JSS University Fee Account, Mysore payable at Mysore.

JSSU UGET 2012 Paper Pattern

JSSU-UGET 2012 will consists of one question paper of 180 multiple choice questions of single best answer type on Physics, Chemistry, Biology (60 on each of them).

The tome allotted for the test would be 180 minutes (3 hrs).

It will be set in English medium.

Each correct answer will get one mark. There is no negative marking for wrong answer.

Last date for receipt of duly filled in application form for registration by the university in person: Monday, May 07, 2012.

Date of Entrance Test: Saturday, May 26, 2012.
