About Exam(KITEE 2012):
KITEE 2012- MBBS/BDS is an Entrance Exam for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. KIIT started as a small industrial training institute in 1992 and subsequently grew to be one of the largest universities in India with 15,500 students. There are a number of full time courses available in its 23 constituent schools. KIIT has a huge campuses spread over 350 acres of land and also has a very good infrastructure, facilities, faculty and provides its students with best of placement opportunities.
KIIT conducts an entrance exam for a number of courses including MBBS/BDS. A large number of students apply every year for the MBBS/BDS entrance due to the credibility of KIIT. The unique thing about KIIT entrance is that it charges no application fees for any of its entrance exams.

Eligibility:
10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together for general category candidates and 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together for SC/ST Candidates.
- For Orissa students :- 55% seats reserved on the basis of KIITEE 2012 score
( 25% seats reserved for Orissa state & 35% seats of each category ( Including Orisa state ) for Women )
- For other states :- 45% seats reserved on the basis of KIITEE 2012 score
M.B.B.S. - 4 ½ years
Age: Lower age should be 17 years as on 01.07.12 & upper age limit should be maximum 25 years as on 01.07.12. The upper age limit may be relaxed by three year for SC/ST candidates.
Total intake capacity is 100 students every year
