The All India Entrance Test ( AIET ) 2011 for admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of surgery (M.B.B.S ) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) is conducted in constituent colleges of the University, situated in its campus at Nerul, Navi Mumbai, 400706, Maharashtra State.The Medical & Dental are recognized by the Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India respectively.

Eligibility Criteria for AIET 2011

• Candidates must be Indian National. The Nationality Certificate issued by the District Magistrate / Additional District Magistrate / Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or a valid Passport shall constitute proof of Nationality.
• The candidate must be either 17 years of age or attain this age as on 31.12.2011 (i.e. the candidate should not have been born after 31.12.1994)
• Candidate should have passed H.S.C. (10 + 2) or equivalent examination from a Recognized Board with English securing minimum 50% marks (40%for all categories of backward class students) in the aggregate of the subjects namely, Physics,Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) for admission to MBBS / BDS. The Backward class candidates must attach copy of the Caste Certificate and Caste Verification Certificates along with the application. Candidates who have appeared for H.S.C. or equivalent examination and whose results will be declared before the dates of Counseling will also be eligible to appear at AIET 2011

Applicant can pay registration fees On line via Credit Card, Debit card, Internet Banking, Cash card, Mobile Payment options. It will be the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that his / her demand draft for fee reaches the office of the Coordinator of Admission Committee within the specified time and date. Demand draft received after the due date such candidates shall not be allowed to appear for the entrance test .The Admission Committee: AIET 2011will not be responsible for non-receipt of the demand draft within the specified time and date due to postal or courier service delays.

The address of the Examination Centre assigned to a candidate will be given in the Hall Ticket. No request for change of centre mentioned in the application form shall be entertained.

Distribution of Hall Tickets - Applicant will receive Hall Ticket in electronic format to the mail address mentioned while ON LINE application form, Alternately applicant can also download hall ticket from University Web site by entering Transaction ID and Date of Birth of applicant , if needed.

Announcement of Results - Date of Result and Result both will be declared only on the University web site

Mode of Entrance Test

The AIET 2011 will be of three hours duration.There will be one question paper at the Entrance Test in English medium containing 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs), 50 each in Physics,Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. FN / PIO / NRI CATEGORY

Please note that Fifteen percent seats for each course are reserved for Foreign National / PIO / NRI category. The candidates desirous of getting admission under this category will have to apply separately on a prescribed form available from the University Office / website. As students from countries other than India come from different background from a wide range of countries graduating at different times each year, an examination for them becomes a difficult task. Such students desirous of getting admission in this category are exempted from appearing for the All India Entrance Test 2011 (AIET 2011). Preference will be given to the foreign nationals and wards of persons of Indian origin settled abroad.The candidates in General Category who desire to be considered for admission against vacant seats in FN / PIO/ NRI category and who agree to be governed by the fee structure of this category, will have to submit a separate application which can be obtained from the Admission office of the University in addition to application for appearing at AIET 2011. The vacant seats will be filled on the basis of inter-se-merit of such candidates based on their AIET 2011 marks.Reservations will be as per the directives of the Government of India (M.H.R.D).
