Akhand ⎝⎝⎲⎵⎲⎠⎠ Mahalwar replied to the topic Re:Common nationwide entrance for MBBS? in the forums.
Why this hype everywhere? MCI says half sentences each time and without any officialness of their statements media is publishing anything with added spices in newspapers and now EC has also made a special place for NEET 2011 in their forum as if they are on the receiving end, but not to clear this confusion for the students.
Here students are preparing for entrance exam some from last 3-2 years working hard day and night! and now they dont even know how or when this exam will be conducted.
Indian media is turning good for nothing these days.. these are a mere mode to spread rumors faster than ever before and the people in this 'industry' seems to lack intelligence completely .. it is all left for the reader to find out the truth from these reports which contain nothing but nonsense.

Akhand ⎝⎝⎲⎵⎲⎠⎠ Mahalwar replied to the topic Re: CET in the forums.I went through the reports again closely.. The entire issue in itself is a stupidity as of now coz of the following 2 reasons:
1) MCI actually does not need any clearance from the court to conduct CET. It is an independent body.. which can frame rules, notify them and implement them .. the way it wants without any other bodies clearance.
2) A court comes in picture only when somebody challenges MCI's notification.
3) MCI has not yet passed any notification .. which is supposed to be the starting point for this to take effect. There has been no official comment in this regard.. esp. for the execution of this plan right from 2011. The reports appearing in the newspaper are the media's own assumptions.
Now even if MCI passes this notification, for 2011 Tamil Nadu is standing against it for reasons we already know. They are sure to file a case against this which will add up to the delay.. and with so little time left I dont think it can lead to CET in 2011.
Neither does MCI looks in mood of implementing it right from 2011 if it is.. then why is it wasting time here in the court?
1 full week has passed since that unrequired clearance from the court and MCI has not yet passed any notification why?
In nutshell .. leave aside CET to happen in 2011 it is not yet sure that it can happen in future.. Coz actually there has not been even a case for this motion in the court.. as it can only be clearified only when some body challenges MCI's notification. -
Akhand ⎝⎝⎲⎵⎲⎠⎠ Mahalwar created a new topic CET in the forums.
How are things actually going to be this time?
we are discussing about dates.. but reports are coming that there will be a single exam.
Does it includes AIIMS and AFMC?
When can we know more about it?
Please some expert at EC reply to this.
Others may also express there predictions

Akhand ⎝⎝⎲⎵⎲⎠⎠ Mahalwar replied to the topic Re: bhu eligibility in the forums.Dont worry .. all such quotas are always for the better of a group. There will be a certain cutoff for the merit of all in common i.e. without seeing whether a candidate is a boy or a girl.. if you can secure enough marks to be in that list you will be in the college even if they had to select more than 5 girls.

Akhand ⎝⎝⎲⎵⎲⎠⎠ Mahalwar replied to the topic Re:HRD says no to common entrance for AIEEE and AIPMT in the forums.
A lot of things will change if aipmt and aieee are merged. If we simply look from the perspective of students there 3 probs
1) It is unclear how a student appearing for PCMB will have to attempt the paper. If it is like 4 papers in a single day.. it will be a exhausting for him/her to complete all in the same day.. And will serve as a disadvantage for him against others going for PCM or PCB alone.
2) A bad day can ruin a student's whole one year. Two days gives a student two opportunities to prove himself.
These two causes will only affect those who are appearing for both ... but the biggest problem will be
3) Confusion during counseling. And it is a serious problem. The system of counseling is not built in a way that it can counsel students for the number of colleges it attempts for every year. EC has discussed this already last year in detail for AIEEE.
-----------------------------------------------------------
I dont know whom Kapil sibbal is trying to help by merging aieee and aipmt. Merging of all medical colleges under one joint exam and for engineering under another is much better than this.. but for that too a better system of counseling should be prepared first.
I think this decision by the court is good.. we are not yet ready for a joint exam.. However, merging could have reduced some corruption in exams ... for which i think MCI is not ready :p

Akhand ⎝⎝⎲⎵⎲⎠⎠ Mahalwar replied to the topic Re:can student of AP apply for AIPMT exam in the forums.
@ranjit
I am no sir.. just a student like you. The website has everything in it.. read the brochure take some pains for yourself and go through it. I am no expert in it. Even if I would have been will you just send your form the way I ll tell you? I guess no .. you ll still read the brochure. If after reading the brochure you still have got some doubts in understanding some phrase there .. you can copy and paste it here and they we can discuss.
Good luck!

@Ranjit
If you do not have AP's Domicile.. or if you desire to opt out of it you can still apply after filling the affidavit for the same.. which is available on the site.

Akhand ⎝⎝⎲⎵⎲⎠⎠ Mahalwar replied to the topic Re: CAPACITORS in the forums.
yes.. but thats a bit heavy info.. the very simple way in which PD can be understood is that it is the field which has the capacity to generate a net force on a charged entity which we measure between two points (owing to its scalar nature, that it follows superimposition principle algebraically.)
In a charged conductor for eg, innumerable electrons are present.. Now I am talking about the stage when electrostatic condition has not been achieved, all the charges will have repulsive forces on each other, and under these forces they will keep moving. But there will be a condition when no net force is present on any charge.. ie they will arrange in such a manner that all the repulsive forces will be cancelled by each other.
This is the condition called Electrostat. And in this state PD will be 0 as there exists no such field to generate a net force.
So, in this question when the two conductors are brought in contact, the charges of both the sphere will also interact with each other and owing to the PD developed the charges will keep moving untill PD=0 or until electrostatic condition has been achieved.
So V1=V2 as dtu said. hence d is the answer.

pS: This is not a perfect definition of potential difference for a perfect one you may refer to some book like, resnick,halliday or theory by irodov etc.
------
Series and parallel circuits actually.. are numerical interpretations for a circuit.. most of the books deal with series and parallel circuits incorrectly.. we can never just know whether something is in series or parallel without knowing some details of the circuit. if you ll wish to know more about it.. you can ask me i ll explain you.

25 is the max. age limit for aipmt .. i think.. only that 3 attempt thing can be a prob..
talk to MCI for this.. u ll find the number of MCI on aipmt website.. u can also talk to dr. sanyam bhardawaj.. his no. is also dere

Using Raoult's law
Ptotal = 1/5 * 92 + 4/5 * 31 = 43.2 mm of Hg
Formula of Glycerine:
Glycerol is glycerine
propane 1,2,3-triol
C3H5(OH)3

Akhand ⎝⎝⎲⎵⎲⎠⎠ Mahalwar replied to the topic Re:PROJECTILE AND CIRCULAR MOTION in the forums.
Let it be at a ht. H initially
Energy possessed by car when it is at the bottom of the loop will be mgH
Conserving energy between the top most point and the bottom most is ..
mgH = 1/2 mv^2 + mgD
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And for a body to successfully complete the circle.. forces should balance it at its top most point.
N + mg = mv^2/r ... the sum of these should be equal to the required centripetal force.
As a limiting case we can take N=0
Solving the above two equations we get..
H= 5/4 D

Akhand ⎝⎝⎲⎵⎲⎠⎠ Mahalwar replied to the topic Re:PHOTOELECTIC EFFECT in the forums.
I am denoting Lambda by λ in the following equations, and threshold wavelength by J
Since,
Max. K.E corresponds to q*Stopping potential..
(KE1) 6q = hc/λ - hc/j ......... 1
(KE2) 2q= hc/2λ - hc/j.......... 2
Dividing 1 by 2..
3 = (1/λ - 1/j)/( 1/2λ - 1/j)
Solving it.... 1/j = 1/4λ
J= 4λ
