1. A sphere of lead of mass 10g has net charge -2.5*10-9 c(coulomb)
a) find the number of excess electrons on the sphere.
b)how many excess electrons are per lead atom? atomic number of lead is 82 and its atomic mass is 207g/mol.
2. Two free point charges +q and +9q are at a distance L apart.A third charge is placed so that the entire system is in equilibrium.Show that the equilibrium of the system is unstable.Find the location, magnitude and sign of the third charge.
