The college is affiliated to NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijay Wada and it has got the approval and recognition from the very reputable Medical Council of India, New Delhi. Located in Chinoutpalli it is one of the premier medical colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

NTR University of Health Sciences has a digital library that houses a collection of both print and electronic books and journals. Besides services like circulation, reprographic, reference service etc., the library also provides net based service to the users of all affiliated colleges of the university. Guest House facility is also available in the university premises.
