Ruxmaniben Deepchand Gardi Medical College offers 5.5 years bachelor's degree courses in MBBS. Admission to this course is made through a merit list prepared on the basis of the score of the candidates in the PMT - Pre-Medical Test. In this course the reservation available to different reserved categories like SC, ST and OBC is as per the Government of India norms.

Eligible candidates should be Indian citizens and residents of Madhya Pradesh. They should have been educated in educational institutions in MP for three consecutive years during the five years that immediately preceded the year of admission.

Children of a pensioner/employee of MP Govt./Public Sector Undertaking/Officers of All India Service on MP Cadre are also eligible for the exam.

15% seats are filled by All India Entrance exam conducted by CBSE, New Delhi.

NRIs are also given admission to MBBS/BDS in Govt./Autonomous Medical/Dental Colleges of the State of Madhya Pradesh. Preference is given to NRIs belonging to Madhya Pradesh.
