Chengalpattu Medical College was established in 1965 and it is situated in Chengalpattu in Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu. The college is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. Managed by the state Government, it is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi. Chengalpattu Medical College Hospital is attached to the College.



Currently, Chengalpattu Medical College offers Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course, with an intake of 50 students every year. The course is of five and a half year’s duration, including one year of compulsory internship. With a view to produce competent doctors, the college offers all the basic amenities in its campus.
