Burdwan University Medical College was launched in the year 1969. Taken over by the Government of West Bengal on 4th August, 1976. Renamed as Burdwan Medical College. First collection of MBBS students from this Medical College was graduated in the year 1978.Burdwan Medical College, which is placed in Burdwan (West Bengal), is a related government college.
