University College of Medical Sciences is one of the premier medical colleges of India. Also known as UCMS delhi, the college was established in 1971 as a constituent college of University of Delhi. Guru Teg Bahadur (G.T.B.) Hospital is the associated teaching hospital attached to the college. The hospital attached to the institute caters to the heath care needs of the people residing there as well as of its surrounding areas.
The University College of Medical Sciences & GTB Hospital Complex is spread over an area of 115 acres comprising of College Block, spacious Out Patient Departments, Indoor Wards, Central Laboratory Services & O.T. Block and other ancillary facilities. UCMS Delhi is known for its quality research and offers various medical and paramedical programmes.

How To Get Into University College of Medical Sciences?
Undergraduate:
Of the total seats available - 85% are filled through Delhi University Medical Admission Test (DUMAT) conducted by Delhi University. Rest 15 % are filled through All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) conducted by CBSE, New Delhi.
Post Graduate:
Of the total available seats - 50% are filled through Delhi Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test (DUPGMET). Remaining 50% are filled through All India PG Entrance Exam (AIPGEE).
