Q1. What is the eligibility criteria?

Ans. Eligibility criteria  for Orissa JEE 2012 are Pass or appearing in 10+2 examination of CHSE, Orissa or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50% marks in aggregate in these subjects taken together (40% for SC/ST) with age between 17 and 25 years as on 31.12.2010 (relaxable up to 3 years for SC/ST candidates).

For candidates seeking admission through JEE to Govt. and Private Colleges the candidate must be a permanent resident/native of Orissa. They are to submit the Permanent Resident Certificate at the time of counseling.

Q2. What is the criteria for reservation of seats?

Ans. Reservation of seats :

  • Open for Orissa states candidates only
  • Other states students are not allowed to appear Orissa JEE

Q3. What are the important dates?

Ans. Important dates:

Date of Examination first week of May 2012
Sale of Application form begins on Fourth week of February 2012
Last date for sale of application forms Third week of March 2012
Last date of receipt of completed application forms Fourth week of March 2012
Online registration through OJEE 2012 website begins on Last week of February 2012
Last date for online registration Second week of March 2012
Last date for receipt of confirmation slip and demand draft
(for online applicant only) 		Third week of March 2012

Q4. From where can the forms be obtained?

Ans. The forms can be obtained from:

Application Form can be obtained from banks/post offices:
On payment of Rs.550/- from the branches of Post Office/Syndicate Banks/State Bank of India.

Application Form can be filled online through web site “http://www.odishajee.com/home.asp”. The applicant has to submit the receipt of confirmation slip and demand draft to chairman, OJEE 2012. The draft should be made for Rs.550/- drawn in favour of "OJEE 2012" on any nationalized bank payable at Bubaneswar.

Candidates can also apply for Application Form by post on payment of A/C payee Demand Draft for Rs.550/- drawn in favour of "OJEE-2011" on any nationalized bank payable at Bhubaneswar along with a stamped (Rs.75/-) 30 cm x 25 cm Size cloth lined self addressed envelope from the Office of the Chairman, OJEE 2012, JEE Cell, Gandamunda, P.O.: Khandagiri, Bhubaneswar - 751030.

Q5. In whose favour is the dd to be drawn?

Ans. The DD is to be drawn in favour of "OJEE-2012" on any nationalized bank payable at Bhubaneswar
